The Ultimate Fighter 9 finale made UFC history and gave out three Fight Of The Night awards. The fight card for this event was incredible. Starting the night of with a great fight was Joe Stevenson vs Nate Diaz. Followed by a great 3 round war with Chris Lytle vs Kevin Burns and to top the night off another 3 round war with Diego Sanchez vs Clay Guida. These guys came to fight a put a show on fans.
Main card
Diego Sanchez $ 90,000 ( includes $45,000 win bonus)
Clay Guida $23,000( win bonus would have been $23,000)
Both fighter received a $25,000 fight bonus
James Wilks$16,000 (includes an $8,000 win Bonus)
DeMarques Johnson$8,000(win bonus would have $8,000)
Chris Lytle$36,000(includes $18,000 win bonus)
Kevin Burns$9,000(win bonus would have been $9,000
Both fighters received a $25,000 fight of the night bonus
Ross Pearson$16,000(includes $8,000 win bonus)
Andre Winners $8,000 (win bonus would have been $8,000)
Joe Stevenson$70,000(includes $35,000 win bonus)
Nate Diaz$20,000(win bonus would have been $20,000)
Respect should be show for these fighters. The more well know fighters have a nice payday but some of the lesser known fighter do not. Only making $8,000 dollars for a fight can’t even cover the cost of training camp. They still have to work another job to support there families and then train. They really have to sacrifice a lot to follow there dream of being a UFC fighter.

The time will soon come when we will be talking about how much they are making. Some Main Card fights have tripled already over the last year. I really enjoy watching come ups (newbies) because the fighter has so much more to gain. GO UFC!

Without a doubt that time will come, it’s amazing that even at this stage the UFC is making some serious serious cash while holding the fighters salaries down. $90k for the main event winner in a hand to hand combat sport, craziest shit ever.
