With the press conference today, we all were hoping for news on Fedor from UFC President Dana White, but it looks like we will never see Fedor in the UFC. Dana declined to answer any question about Fedor. The dream is dead, but there was lots of other news :
The UFC has tried everything to sign Fedor. They offered everything outside of co-promotion.
Dana promises Fedor will not be offered a better contract anywhere.
Dana said that M-1 can call him right now if they’re ready to make a deal.
Dana also stated they were willing to make a deal at almost any cost to get Fedor but he doesn’t want to fight the best.
Dana says he feels it is his job to make Fedor/Lesner happen, because that’s what the fans want. Fedor can do sambo every Thursday night for all he cares.
Vitor Belfort has been signed. Rich Franklin vs. Vitor Belfort at 205 headlining UFC 103.
The UFC has signed a deal with ESPN for their events to be broadcast in the UK starting with UFC 101.
The UFC has never had as much interest from major television networks as they do right now.
Dana says they are always working to complete a network deal but need “the right deal” which they don’t yet have.
Tito has been signed and he will retire with the UFC. Tito says it was an offer he couldn’t refuse and you’ll never hear him complain about money again. WOW!
Tito Ortiz vs Mark Coleman a maybe for Tito’s first fight. Tito might make a move up to heavyweight.
Paul Daley, Rafael Oliveira, Mark Hominick, Ben Rothwell, Chase Gormley, Dan Lauzon have been signed.
A title bout between Silva and Henderson could happen very soon. It all depends on how Silva does in his fight with Forrest Griffin.
The deal that White said “would change the UFC forever” is “very close” to happening and NOT the Tito Ortiz deal.
Well I guess we will have to wait for the real big news but Vitor and Tito back in the UFC is very exciting and I can’t wait to see the fights. A lot of new fighter in the UFC stables and the more fighters the better fight we get to see.

You know I have a rant to write about this shit right? You know I feel everything I said and felt about Fedor is true, you know I could give less than two shits what the Fedor lovers have to say right?
Fedor is nothing more than an over rated bitch at this point, instead of fighting no name losers in a league that never mattered the sloppy looking Russian should just fucking retire. Seriously, spare us the “Best fighter ever” bullshit and let’s get back to what matters..
M-1 Global Doesn’t Matter and at this point and as of about five years ago Fedor doesn’t matter. Game over.

OH ya and I can’t wait to read your rant on this. It should be good. Fedor is over rated and ducking the UFC just shows it. Everyone is blaming M-1 but the bottom line Fedor is the fighter and it is his decision. GO HOME Fedor we are done with you.

Who was it that you said would beat Fedor?

Frank Mir, Randy Coutur, Brock lesnar, Cain Velasquez. I really does’t matter because we will never see Fedor in the octagon.

One statement, maybe two… Fedor and M-1 are business Partners so like you said James, Fedor has every option to make his own decisions as a co-owner, but he is not because he is affraid of losing his recognition as “baddest man on the planet”. So like John said, save us the bull shit and just jump into the octagon Fedor and perhaps MAYBE you will gain more recognition as “the baddest man on the planet” instead of coward ducking a bullet!

Do you UFC nuthuggers realize that Fedor still has 3 fights left on his M-1 contract?? Yes he is part owner, but he can’t even fight anywhere unless M-1 co-promotes–BECAUSE HE IS STILL UNDER CONTRACT WITH THEM. So after he gets those 3 fights out of the way, via Strikeforce/M-1 bouts with Rogers, Overeem, and Werdum, then he WILL BE FREE TO SIGN WITH UFC w/o an M-1 CO-PROMOTION. Then we can see him fight the best, which by that time will be Carwin, after he beats Brock, which that is probably hard for you freakin newbies, who first watched mma on TUF 4 or some shit, to swallow. Oh and I’m not a Fedor nuthugger either–I dont know if he is the best HW in the world, cause he hasnt fought the best–but to bash him because he contractually obligated elsewhere for 3 more fights, is just rediculous.
