Here we go fight fans, it’s time for UFC 99 “The Comeback” from Lanxess Arena, Germany on Saturday at 10pm ET. Make sure to check your PPV time.
After last weekend of great MMA action. I am now ready for some UFC. The card is going to be very good and I think there going to be a lot of upsets and a lot of knockouts.

Rich Franklin( 26-4-0-1nc) vs Wanderlei Silva(32-9-1-1nc)
Fighting at a catch weight of 195, Rich moves up and Silva moves downs, which gives him a small advantage. Silva is a animal in the cage and I would not like to be on the receiving end of his attack. There is a reason why they call his the axe murder.
However, Rich is training hard and is very hungry for this win. He knows what might happen if he loses another one .He might be out of a job. Both fighters are coming off a loss and both are looking for a big win. I am going out on a limb here and I am going to pick Rich. I know you think I’m crazy but like I said “a night of upsets.”
My pick: Rick Franklin
RESULTS: Rich Frankin wins in unanimous decision.
Cheick Kongo(24-4-1) vs Cain Velasquez(5-0-0)
This is going to be on hell of a fight. These boys are both big, strong and like to throw heavy hands. I am glad Heath Herring had to drop out because this is a fight I want to see. I think if the right Kongo shows up this will be total war. If not Kongo is going to get knocked out. Cain has been on a tear lately and after last time I did not pick him to win I said that I would not doubt him again.
MY pick: Cain Velasquez
RESULTS: Cain Velasquez wins.
Mke Swick(13-2-0) vs Ben Saunders( 7-0-2)
This could be the fight of the night right here. Both are fast and have knockout power. I have liked Mike since TUF. I have watched him evolve in the sport and get better and better. Ben is also a young shooting MMA star. He has what it takes to be champion someday, but Swick will have something to say about that.
My pick: Mike Swick
RESULTS: Mike Swick by TKO
Marcus Davis(21-5-0) vs Dan Hardy(21-6-0-1nc)
Wow this could also be fight of the night. Dan hardy has been very under rated in his MMA career. He was suppose lose his late fight but proved everyone wrong. Marcus is no push over, if Dan walks through Davis, he will make a lot of people believers.
My pick: Dan Hardy
RESULTS: Dan Hardy Wins In Split Decision
Spencer Fisher(23-4-0) vsCaol Uno(25-11-4)
Caol Uno will be a good test for Spencer. Spencer needs a win so he can start climbing back up the latter for title shot. Caol Uno is also in need of a win to keep his career alive. This may go all three rounds.
My pick: Spencer Fisher
RESULTS: Spencer Fisher wins unanimous decision.
Mirko Cro Cop(24-6-2-1nc) vs Mostapha Al Turk (6-4-0)
Cro Cop as you know has had a very bad run in the UFC. He got beat very bad and made a great highlight reel when knockout Gonzaga almost kicked his head off. Now he said he is ready to return and has something to prove. I like Cro Cop and would like to see him do well, but I don’t know if he can get over fighting in a cage instead of a ring. Mostapha Al Turk will be a good test for Cro Cop. The will be all or nothing for CroCop.

Undercard
Terry Etim(12-2-2) vs Justin Buchholz(9-2-0)
Dennis Siver(13-6-0) vs Dale Hartt(6-1-0)
Paul Taylor(9-4-1-1 nc) vs Peter Sobotta(8-1-0)
Paul Kelly(9-1-0) vs Rolando Delgado(8-3-1)
Denis Stojnic(12-2-0) vs Stefan Struve(20-3-0)
John Hathaway(11-0-0) vs Rick Story(7-2-0)
This should be a great UFC. I can’t wait to see how the German fans take to the UFC fighters.

It’s funny because many people are saying this isnt a great card, but im really looking forward to it, i could repeat my picks here but there exactly the same as yours! So i won’t lol. The fight i have most doubt over from those picks are Kongo and Velasquez and Hardy vs Davis, I think Cain will win, but i dont see it being easy, Kongo doesnt get knocked out, only once that i know off and hes a big fighter compared to Velasquez. Davis and Hardy i think could go either way but i’m still gonna side with Hardy i think he has the range and speed to catch Davis. Gonna be a great night of fights i think!

mmalink This card is for the ture MMA fan. You have to be into the sport to understand what is going down tonight. This is a great card with some badass fighters. Kongo is a big boy and this is going to be Velasquez greatest test to date. Davis and Hardy is going to be fireworks. Davis will have to be on top of his game to get the w tonight

Yeh i really enjoyed the fights on this card, shame about the eye poke but i think Al Turk was on borrowed time anyhow. wishing id put some money on this now lol!

mmalink I also enjoyed the fights on this card. You are right Al Turk was on borrowed time. He was not going to last much longer. Cro Cop looked really good, it’s a shame he left the UFC under bad terms. Dana will not have anything to do with him now.

Extreme John It was a great card and some crazy upsets. My picks, you know what they say about a blind squirrel and a nut. I am very excited about UFC 100 just around the corner. what a fight card that will be.
