Hardy may be a good puncher but he better slow his role when he talks about knocking out GSP. Thats so funny when he says ” I plan on hiting him as much as possible then going to the mat and getting up to hit him more” he’s crazy, does he think hes going to just be able to get up. George can execute a take down from half way accross the Octagon, Georege knows Hardy can strike decent so I think he wont just strike but bait Hardy into a position where he can take him down. As much as Hardy thinks this wont be a wrestling match I say too bad Hardy, you will be taken down and you will be contolled on your back DANNY BOY!!! If he knocks out GSP I will be shocked along with everyone else but I just cant see that happening! GSP is not going to stand and trade if he doesn’t have to, he his far superior in skill and the fight will take place on his terms , sorry Hardy but GSP pounds you out on the mat or rapes you on the ground for 5 rounds.

I also wish Mir wasnt such an ass of late because the same sort of thing should happen in that fight as well. Carwin has a great punch but I just cant see Mir being that careless as to get caught with a shot in the first round like all of Carwins KO victims. I’m leaning toward skill in these two fights, I realize that the bigger puncher can beet a skilled fighter but not in these cases for sure, these guys are just too skilled to alow it. Mir takes Carwin somewhere hes never been before (out of the 1st round) and will egin to slowly dominate this fight. This fight will not go 5 rounds, Mir will choke or get a limb well before that , probably near the end of the 2nd or sometime in the 3rd round. Mir vs. Brock will happen and the rubber match will be the best of the 3 fights thus far!!!

i disagree byers, GSP will out strike hardy as he did thiago alves (which is a way better striker then hardy) Gsp will look to dominate the mat aswell, and hands down he will not have a problem doin so. mir and carwin, im going the classic jujitsu vs wrestler. wrestlers usually seem to have the upper hand.carwin is strong on his feet witch we all know but his wrestling is what is going to win this fight.im a mir fan but we all know he got lucky with brocks inexperience the first time.carwin will over power mir just like brock did regardless about his weight gain.mir vs brock 3 just isnt exciting.Idont want to see a man that got dominated twice get a third fight 4 the belt.(give someone else a fight lol)brock will have a hard time bullying a man his own size and strength, thats what carwin vs mir is all about who fights brock.mir can fight brock when he loses the belt lol.
p.s. either way it goes FUCK BROCK LOL!

Mir will make him look small in that fight. 265 is big and he’s carries the weight well. Mir is going to nuetrilize carwin’s strikes and make him gas out. You know it … No doubt GSP will win the fight!! I cant see him deciding to stand if it doesn’t favor him though. He will win with superior skill and make Hardy look like nothing but a striker.

Gsp will win by adapting to Hardeys striking and overcome it by not allowing him to do so. I’m sure he can beet Hardy on his feet but why chance it. Hardy hasnt proven hes a force in the Division by going the distance vs sub par apponents. We know GSP can strike …. well he can do alot of things well , I’m really feeling here that GSP will make Hardy fight a fight hes not comfortable in, once again why try to prove something by standing with a heavy puncher, he was caught by Serra and I think hes too smart to get caught again, I agree he could probably out strike Hardy but I just dont see him risking being tagged . Too much to lose and very little gain by outstriking this guy , all that matters is getting the W and with 5 rounds to punish Hardy I think he’ll do just that..punish Hardy and expose him as a one dimensional fighter by taking Hardy to a MMA clinic, not just a punching war. I mean he doesnt want to get caught in the first minute like your boy Maia did vs Marq. right?

he stood wit alves so y not hardy? maia lost once and thats the only thing u can say bad about him so y u hatin?he got rocked lol how many of ur fav fighters havent,NONE so get off the haterrade and start backing fighters that r good not just the ones with hype around them.

like Maia u mean? ya no hype around that guy!!… but seriously though, I was over at Sher dog and Jimmo fights in April vs. Gouveia, he just left the UFC after losses to Marquardt and Belcher and he won Tuff 8. Should be a tuff fight. Love to see Jimmo push the record to 13-1 with a TKO. last 3 wins where all Dec. They actually call him a Saint John native in the article.

E.Shaakz Reply:

100% agreed. it nice to see that there calling jimmo a saint john native.ko would be sweet but a win is a win and thats what he needs to get a title shot or a ufc contract.the only reason he hasnt got either one is because of all them decs.have to wait and see, till then good luck jimmo!

Lesnar is going to inialate either MIR or CARWIN. After Mir said he was going to kill Lesnar in the ring and have the first ever ring related fatality in the UFC he pretty much signed his death warrant. After Mir beats Carwin Brock is going to destroy him. If Carwin gets by Mir by some fluke punch it will be even worse. Love him or hate him Lesnar is Dominate in the Octagon and unless someone gets really lucky he wont lose. And ya’ll know it!!!!

It doesn’t matter what Hardy wants to do, GSP will take the fight where he wants it and do what he pleases. He’s too good. Mir has upped his training, gotten quicker and improved his stamina. He says he wants a third fight w/ Brock, gotta focus on Carwin first.

Couldn’t agree with T more. It’s great, all the hype around these fights. Thats interesting what you say about Mir because I think every conversation ends up sounding just like what you said regarding the whole Mir Carwin Brock contreversy. I personally hope Mir wins but if Carwin wins I want to see him keep the streek alive with a 1st round KO. How exciting of a prelude would that be, Carwin going into the Lesnar fight coming off a KO win vs Mir, everyone would be foaming at the mouth wanting to see the fight. If Mir wins I would want to see him control Carwin like Brock controlled Mir, I think that would really excite fans thinking Mir was big and strong enough now after gaining all the weight. Either way this is some excitng stuff. GSP is surely going to own Hardy as well just like T said , He’ll fight this battle how ever he wants, I cant wait!!!

The conversation is getting pretty sweet around here, I am fired up about this fight card in a big way. I can’t go in to all of my picks here but I will say I think GSP puts on another clinic, this time against Hardy.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it and I know James does too.

John I love the vid’s there a sweey concept BUT when are you going to take a ride with some Extreme ho’s in the limo with the pole in it. Thats what I want to see in these videos. Nothing too graphic but c’mon man it wouldn’t be showing off or anything and I know you can pull it off. Your right too GSP will dominate Hardy, sorry but looks like Daley is the U.K’s best shot at a title, if George moves on that is!lol

Assuming GSP wins, what’s next for him? Does he take the ultimate challenge and move up and try to take the middleweight crown as well? Can he put on enough quality weight? I don’t think he can cut to make lightweight. He needs a challenge, but what will it be?

I say That the division has alot of guys that want a shot at GSP. If you look at it from GSP’s camp, yes, maybe you want bigger better fighters for a “challange” but I think being the champ of a weight class is enough of a challenge. The UFC will continue to pitt guys against GSP for the Welter weight title and they will all be entertaining. With great champions in every division it keeps them relevant ( the divisions i mean) You can have a title fight almost every UFC and why do a catch weight fight with Anderson and George just because they are the 2 best. That does nothing for either one of their carreers and makes a mess of the title defence’s. If one of these guys lose or if George decides to jump a weight class than the fight will prob. happen. If GSP goes up I see him having a fight maybe 2 at Middleweight just to get his feet wet, and by that time I’m saying Anderson will be a lightheavy weight. I dont see this fight happening anytime soon as it just doesn’t make $cents$. The UFC will not put a bunch of eggs in a basket if they can do well and put up big name title defences every time. Thats how I see it. Agree????????????
