UFC 104 Fighter Salaries

by James on October 27, 2009 752 views to the Head

The California State Athletic Commission has released the fighter salaries for UFC 104.The main event  featuring the light heavyweight title bout between Lyoto Machida and  Shogun Rua.  The co main featured Cain Velasquez and Ben Rothwell which took place on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. These figures show only what the fighters have to report to the CSAC. This does include money from sponsors and any bonuses a fighter may receive revenue from.

Anthony Johnson did not make weight and had to surrender 20% of his $15,000 show money and would have received Knock out of the night bonus but was ineligible because he missed his weight. That was $60,000 mistake I bet Anthony will not make again. The big winner on the night was Pat Berry who  received Knock out of the night and  Fight of the night bonuses totaling $120,000.
