The true heavyweight champion will be crowned. Will it be Brock Lesnar or Frank Mir? Can GSP stop Thiago Alves and keep his title or will a new champion be crowned. Brock Lesnar Frank Mir

Brock Lesnar(3-1-0) vs Frank Mir(12-3-0)

This is the fight I’m all fired up about. I really like Brock ever since he joined the world of MMA. I think he had learned a great lesson from Frank Mir and has three jujitsu coaches in his camp. Don’t for second, think that I’m saying Frank is not a bad ass, because he is. He looked really good in his last fight and I was very pleased to see the old Frank back in action. Brock has had time to learn a lot about the the sport of MMA. This should make for a great fight.

My pick:Brock Lesnar, First Round by TKO.

Live Results

1st Round Brock put Frank on the ground and did some damage, but Frank is still alive and kicking.

2nd Round Brock is the undisputed heavy weight champion and leaves Frank bloody on the ground.

Georges St Pierre Thiago Alves

George St-Pierre(18-2-0) vs Thiago Alves(22-4-0)

I don’t know how I became a fan of GSP. I remember hating him for the longest time, but his last 4 fights, I seem to be pulling for him. Nice trick GSP! This will be a war and possible fight of the night. These guys will go at it hard and put on a show for the fans. I really like Alves and I think he is one of the few fighters in the division that have the tools to take Gsp. He must bring his A game to make it happen. I think Gsp is at the top of his game right and don’t think he is ready to be dethroned.

My pick: GSP, 3rd round by submission

Live Results

1st RoundGSP wins round one with four take downs and dominating the round.

2nd RoundThiago on the ground, on his back for most of the round. GSP is able to control Thiago.

3rd RoundMuch more even of a round, until the last minute of the round. GSP knocks down Thiago with a punch and Thiago is in danger.

4th RoundGSP spends some time on his back, but still knocks down Thiago several times. Rounds ends with GSP submission attempt.

5th RoundThiago shows some serious heart, but still gets knocked down a few more times.

Unanimous Decision for St. Pierre, keeping his belt.

Jon Fitch Paulo Thiago

Jon Fitch(22-3-1) vs Paulo Thiago (11-0-0)

This will be fight of the night. This is another fight that I’m fired up about. There will be fireworks in the cage when this happens. I am really tore on who to pick. I like both fighters and they very well matched. Finch is a bad dude and has the experience in the cage, but Paulo is on a roll through the middle weight division. I really don’t know if he can be stopped.

My pick:Paulo Thiago, 3rd by submission

 Result :Fitch by

Dan Henderson Michael Bisping

Dan Henderson(24-7-0) vs Michael Bisping(18-1-0)

Another fight I can’t wait to see. These guys don’t like each other and are going to try to kill each other in the cage. Dan is looking for revenge for losing the TUF to Bisping. Dan is a dangerous man in the cage and Bisping had better be prepared for war. Dan’s age really concerns me, I wonder if he still has the fire inside. I know he wants to destroy Bisping, but can he? I am going to catch hell for my prediction but I have to call it like I see them.

My pick: Michael Bisping ,3rd by decision

Live Results:

1st round Bisping really did nothing. Henderson hunted him the whole round and dominated teh action.

2nd roundBisping goes goodnight! Henderson wins in KO!

Mark Coleman Stephan Bonnar

Mark Coleman (15-9-0) vs Stephan Bonnar(14-5-0)

Mark Coleman is a legend in this sport and I hope they put him in the UFC hall of fame. I can remember watching Mark way back when there were no rules or time limits. What keeps this man fighting at his age (44 years old) is beyond me. I’m glad he is and I hope that he has a few more in him. Bonnar has not had the same luck in the sport as Forrest. They became famous when they had there epic battle during TUF1 final where they both won a $100,000 contract with the UFC. Bonner needs this win to stay with the UFC. We could see Bonner gone if he loses this fight. I like Bonner but…..

My pick:Mark Colemen, 2rd by TKO

Yoshihiro Akiyama Alan Belcher

Yoshihiro Akiyama (n/a) va Alan Belcher(13-4-0)

I will keep this one short.

My pick:Alan Belcher 3rd by decision

LIVE RESULTS: Split Decision Akiyama

The under card

Mac Danzig(19-6-1) vs Jim Miller(13-2-0)

I really hope we get to see this fight on PPV.

Jon Jones(8-0-0) vs Jake O’Brien(11-2-0)

Dony Hyun Kim (11-0-1) vs TJ Grant(14-2-0)

Cb Dollaway (9-2-0) vs Tom Lawlor(5-1-1)

Matt Grice (10-2-0) vs Shannon Gugerty(11-3-0)

It’s nice to see you’ve been hittin the cheeba again. Coleman is going to make it to the second round than win vs Bonner? In real life? Haha.

Just kiddin bro, all though I do disagree. I think if Coleman wins it he wins it in the first be TKO or maybe KO if he treats us all. After the first round it becomes Bonners game, the youth will show through sadly and Coleman will get beat up.

Nice article bro.
