Tito Ortiz’s return to the octagon at UFC 106 was uneventful with a split decision loss to Forrest Griffin. Even with all the time off and Tito trying to reinvent himself, we saw the same old Tito with his same lame excuses as to why he lost. Months before his return to the octagon, Tito has been preaching about how he was hurt and he had bad back problems before. He took some time off, had surgery on his back and now he’s 100% and ready to take a shot at the light heavy championship.
I believe Tito lost the first fight to Forrest and there is now doubt he lost the second one. Tito being the true douche bag, had a ton of excuses and said he was robbed. I think Tito needs to go back and watch the tape. The only thing he did was take Forrest down a couple of times. Forrest got back up, taking only minor damage. Forrest ruled the stand up and the last round Forrest picked him apart while Tito stood and let Forrest punch that big inflated head of his.
I decided to make a top 10 list of Tito best excuses why he lost. Tito made #9 on my top 10 most hated MMA fighters. Please leave a comment if I left anything out or you would like to add to the list.
10. I blew out my back playing Hopscotch
9. I could only train 2 days a week
8. I wasn’t in shape
7. I had a torn ACL
6. I got poked in the eyes
5. c7 and c8 had bulging disc and or blown disc
4. Robbed by uneducated judges
3. Forgot the safe word me and Jenna use
2. I blew out my back. (I know I listed it twice but he uses this excuse a lot)

I can’t believe not one single person commented on this post, it’s a classic. I have seen all kinds of MMA news and UFC 106 recaps and reviews this week and this is by far the most creative.
I actually have to say I give Tito a lot of respect for even competing after a major back surgery, all though when he was stumbling through what he hurt in his neck it was classic.

Great list, gave me a few chuckles.
I have to say that I respect Tito for coming back and putting up a decent fight. He lost the fight big in my opinion. It’s a damned shame he had to ruin what was a decent comeback. Why not just shut up and get back in to better shape and take another match.
I am not that sure he will be able to compete at the highest level if he just keeps bitching and moaning, I certainly dont like all the excuses and BS.

Gald you liked it. That’s what Tito does run his mouth and then cry about it. I think everyone was hoping Tito might have changed but same old Tito. I’m no Tito fan but I will always watch him fight.

I still remember a few years ago or early this decade when Tito fight, he fights. Usually the fight is over in seconds. But since Randy schooled him in five rounds and Tito can’t help it but cry after the fight, he was never been the same Tito again.

I remember when Randy beat him. Your right he hasn’t been the same. He loves to make excuses for his losses. I have never heard him say he just got beat. It’s always something.
