Here we go again fight fans on June 6, Strikeforce has put together another great main card for MMA fans. There’s four huge match ups with guaranteed fireworks.
There will be more fights I”m sure, but that’s all that’s posted right now. I will update as the fights are made official.
Main card 9:00 (ct)
Robbie Lawler (16-4) vs. Jake Shields (22-4-1)
This is going to be war! These guys have been in some of the greatest battles in MMA history. Jake and Robbie with fight at a check in weight of 182. I will have to pick Jake Shields to win this one.
RESULTS
Round One: They trade in the center of the cage. Shield tries a take down on Lawler. Shield not doing so well with the the take down. Shields lands a choke and Lawler taps out. Shields wins.
Nick”Bad Boy” Diaz (19-7) vs. Scott “Hands Of Steel” Smith(16-5)
There could not be a better match up with these two. Scott had a all out brawl his last fight with Benji Radach, that ended in a awesome knockout. Who can forget Nick Daiz’s last fight with Frank Shamrock. Nick run over Frank and shocked a lot of people. I love both fighters and this is a hard pick. I want Scott to win, but I will have to pick Nick Diaz.
RESULTS
Round One: Diaz taking a few shots from Smith. They go toe to toe in the center of the cage. Nick lands a lot of punches on Smith. Smith lands some nice punches on Nick. Smith with a take down, but right back to there feet. Smith landing on Nick and takes Smoth down. End of the round.
Round two: Smith taking a lot of punches from Nick. Smith still standing throwing punches back. Nick back to work on smith. Nick lands body shot and another body shot. Smith still standing and landing punches. They stand in the center of the cage trading punches. End of the round.
Round three: Smith comes out swing for the fences. Smith goes down and Nick takes his back.Nick working the rear naked choke and submits Smith. Winner Nick Diaz
Phil “The New York Bad Ass” Baroni (13-10) vs. Joe “diesel” Riggs(29-10)
Phil Boaroni may not have the best record in MMA but he has fought some of the best in MMA. Phil has been fighting for a long time. I don’t know if that’s an advantage or a disadvantage against Riggs. Riggs is younger, but he wasn’t too impressive in his last fight. I am going to have to pick my boy Phil Baroni.
RESULTS
Round one: Riggs takes Phil down and take’s his back. Riggs trying a rear naked choke but Phil escapes. Riggs still working Phil on the ground. They move back to there feet . Riggs with a single leg take down but Phil ends up on top. They stand them up and Phil takes a straight right hand from Riggs. They end up back to the ground with Phil on top. End of the round.
Round two: They move to the center of the cage. Phil throws a superman punch and Riggs takes him down. Back to their feet, Phil with a double leg take down. Back to there feet. Riggs landing a nice right hand and a knee on Phil. Phil with a take down. Riggs with a nice triangle but Phil some how escapes. End of the round.
Round three: Phil looks very tired and Riggs moves in and landing huge punches. Riggs just stalking Phil. Riggs just landing a will. Phil taking a lot of damage. Phil won”t go down. They stand in the center of the cage. End of the round.
WINNER: Riggs
Kevin “The Monster” Randleman (17-12) vs.Mike Whitehead (23-7)
The first time in over a year Kevin Randleman will enter the cage. Three and half years ago, Kevin contracted a fungal lung infection required surgery. The illness returned, delaying his return to the ring. Kevin is a tremendous athlete and it’s good to see him back. Mike Whitehead is no joke, he’s a big boy himself great skills on the ground and very heavy handed. Kevin has been out for a while, so I will pick Mike Whitehead

Andrei “The Pit Bull” Arlovski (15-6)vs.Brett “The Grim” Rogers(9-0)
What a great match up to bring to this card. This card is already stacked and now the heavy weight just could not be left out. Andrei has been training for a boxing match that will or will not happen. I would bet that he has gotten a lot better with his hands. Andrei was always one of my picks in any fight until the whole Tim Sylvia incident. Then who can forget the devastating knockout from Fador. I hope Andrei is ready and prepared for war, because he is going to get it.
Brett “The Grim” Rogers is undefeated in he MMA record. Eight devastating knockouts, one submission and only one fight made it past the first round. Brett is a bad ass and if Andrei of the old shows up to fight, man what a show for the MMA fans. My pick will have to be Brett “the grim’ Rogers.

Ahhh sweet Baroni is fighting again, means plenty of chatter and what should be a fight that ends with a knockout. Not sure if it will be him or Riggs who gets it though.
