Fedor Emelianenko (30-1) vs. Brett Rogers (10-0)

I was a fan of Fedor until the whole UFC thing went down. I did not like how Fedor and his horrible management handled the whole situation.  I lost all respect for him and I hate M-1 global and think they should be banned from MMA in the United States.  Fedor made number 3 on my top 10 list of most hated MMA fighters.  Brett Rogers is by far the under dog but I think he is the new hope to KO fedor. If the fight goes to the ground Roger has no chance of winning but if they stay standing  Rogers has a good chance of Knocking Fedor out. Rogers has nothing to lose but everything to gain.

My pick: Brett Rogers

Jake Shields (23-4-1) vs. Jason “Mayhem” Miller (22-6)   Middleweight Championship Fight

This is going to be a great fight and a hard one to predict. Jake Shields is on a 12 fight win streak and has wins over greats Robbie Lawer and Paul Daley. Mayham has been in the game for a long time and also has a win over Lawler in 2006. I think both guys are equal on the ground and the fight should be determined in the stand up game. I am going to have go with Jake on this one. This fight should be the best fight on this fight card.

My pick: Jake Shields

Gegard Mousasi (22-6-1) vs. Rameau Thierry “The African Assasin” Sokodjou (7-4)

Mousasi is on a 13 fight win streak and his last fight was against Renato Sobal. He destroyed Sobal in one minute of the first round. The 4 fights Sokodjou has lost have been by some great fighters like Lyoto Machida and Renato Sobral. His last fight was against the Beast Bob Sapp witch he tko’d him in 1:30 seconds of the first round. I would like to give Sokodjou a chance in this fight but I think Mousasi should dominate him.

My pick:Gegard Mousasi

Fabricio “Vai Cavalo” Werdum (12-4-1) vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva (13-1)

Werdem has 4 losses on his record and they come at the hands of greats like Arlouski,Nogueira, and Santos. He has some impressive wins over Gonzaga and Brandon Vera. Silva has not been in the cage with greats like Werdum but only two of his fights have made it out of the first round. This should be one great fight in the making. These guys should put on a show and stand in the center of  the cage and trade punches. Just how we fan like it.

My pick: Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva

Fedor definately has his hands full with this big black guy, I predict he’s gonna end up takin it to the ground to neutralize the size advantage. I wouldn’t be surprised many fighters that I have thought were invincible to a degree have fallen at their apex. Faber, Torres, Machida

O.k now that I straightened Sang out, let’s get down to business.

Can I order one Rogers KO at the end of round 2 please. That is of course wishful thinking, but I do have some sick feeling that Strikeforce relying on Fedor like they did Kimbo might just have the same bad side effect. Just a thought.

Rogers doesnt stand a chance with Fedor. Fedor is lightyears ahead of him in all areas of the game and Rogers is a lot slower with his hands. Fedors ganna win this fight easily by first round decapitation.

First round decapitation… Thats big, without a doubt one for the highlight reels.

ow on a side note, I hope someone somewhere at least factors in that Fedor hasn’t had a fight against anyone useful (unless you include the UFC) in as long as I can remember. No I won’t accept Arlovski or Sylvia in the list, I can explain why but it would bore everyone.

I doubt Fedor has been getting any younger while he’s been doing Sambo and whatever else he does, Rogers is hungry.

Jay is see your a diehard Fedor fan. Fedor should win the fight. Thats why he signed with Strikeforce so he doesn’t have any competition so he can keep his record and his #1 ranking. Fedor and M-1 do not care about the fans, It’s all about the money. We the fans make MMA what it is. Fedor would be nothing with out us and signing with Strikeforce is how he repays us. It’s BS I hope he gets beat and beat bad.
