Rampage Jackson on Tuesday posted a blog on his official website that he was retiring from fighting to become a full time actor.
There have been some bad blood between Dana White and Rampage over him taking the role of BA Baracus in the remake of the A-Team. Rampage wanted to push the fight back a few months so he could shot the movie and then train for his fight with Rashad. Dana was mad as hell over this and they were not on speaking terms. Last week reports came out that they have talked and all was well but I guess that is not the case.
You can read more of what Rampage had to say on his Blog here or go to his website Rampage jackson.com. You have to register to view his blog.I hope this is not the end for Rampage. I would rather see him in the octagon then on the silver screen.

I was bummed to read this, but I doubt it’ll be permanent. Rampage is one of my favorite fighters. Remember when he used to slam the hell out of people? Maybe not the smartest way to expend energy, but he scored wins in a very entertaining fashion. Here’s hoping he does the A-team and gets right back to fighting.

I hope your right and he returns to fighting. Rampage is a huge part of MMA and he will be missed. I was really looking forward seeing him slam the hell out of Rashad.

I don’t know man let’s face it, Rampage has been in wars and been in wars for years and years now. That body can’t be getting any younger and getting motivated to train for 6-8 weeks can’t be getting any easier.
he likes the talking now and honestly Rashad will own him if they fight anytime soon, his head isn’t in it, why bother.
Peace out Rampage thans for the memories.

On a side note pretty crazy how this came out a week after the TUF season premiere and only one night after Chuck Liddell appeared on Dancing with the Stars?
