No Prelims On Spike TV For UFC 107

by James on December 1, 2009 170 views to the Head

Well fight fans be prepared for disappointment. There will be no prelims shown on Spike TV for UFC 107.

The UFC and Spike TV have teamed up and showed the prelims for UFC PPV events since UFC 103. I have to say I love it and hoping it’s the norm from now on. Spike TV does a great job covering the prelims commercial free and show many, if not all the of the preliminary fights. I have been hoping for years we would get to see the prelims on the PPV, but free on Spike is even better.

After spoiling us with free prelims on Spike, this time we will have do with out. The the video game awards have ready claimed the time slot of 8 pm to 10 pm on Dec 12. I like the video game awards, but not enough to miss the prelims of UFC 107. I hope after UFC 107 Spike and the UFC will resume showing the prelims on Spike before all UFC PPV”s.

:spar: I’m really hoping this is just a one time occurence. the free prelims on spike is the BEST idea they’ve had. And i think they sucker tons more people into buying the ppv when they get all phsyched up watching the undercard fights.

As a huge MMA fan I remember being a bit disappointed when this happened too, but luckily almost all the prelims have been being shown. I have to hand it to them, Spike has really stepped up for the sport and become my favorite channel in the process. . As a DISH Network employee and subscriber I’m glad I get to watch all this programming in high definition, it looks simply amazing and the added clarity is very important while watching the fights. DISH offers their HD Free for Life for qualifying customers on all their America’s Top Packages, it’s a great deal and next to going to the events live, is the best way to watch MMA.
