Jake O’Brien Rleased from the UFC

Following losses in three of his last four fights, the UFC has released light heavyweight Jake O’Brien, according to Five Ounces of Pain, who confirmed the release.

After a promising start to his UFC career where O’Brien win his first three fight inside the Octagon. A victory over Heath Herrting made his record 10-0. O’ Brien suffered back-to-back losses Andrei Arlovski and Cain Velasquez. He had a split decision win over Christian Wellisch in January in his light heavyweight debut. The former heavyweight O’Brien was submitted by Jon Jonesin bout in July at UFC 100. Keep and eye on Jake he will make it big somewhere and hopefully will be back to the UFC.
