I took a little time and surfed around the web yesterday and I came across some article posted by some jackass reporter from some paper in Baltimore. The article was called Does Brock Lesnar Cheapen UFC 100 for Purists?
Are you kidding me, how the hell can you even say that after UFC 100 sold out faster than any other event in MMA and UFC history. Tickets are selling for $40,000 on the street.
I can see some of so called “purists” might feel about Brock entering the UFC and only after a couple of fight getting a title shot. Ok, maybe, but cheapen UFC 100? STFU, get off the band wagon and don’t ride my sport.
You are one of those guys that is a paid writer and maybe watched a few MMA events or read about them somewhere and jumped on the band wagon because the sport is so hot right now, trying to get some people to read your paper. I am a purists and writing some crap like that just pisses me off and makes you look like a jackass.
I can tell in the first paragraph if you are a fan or just some paid jackass writer. Stay out of my sport and leave it to the real fans to report the news and events. All you do is cheapen the sport of MMA because you have no idealwhat the hell you are talking about.
I was reading a comment posted on another site and the guy was saying he watched the UFC fights on showtime on Saturday. I’ll give you a minute to think about that. OK first THERE IS NO UFC ON SHOWTIME jackass! Strikeforce is on showtime.
It’s people like this that’s just piss me off. ESPN still doesn’t give MMA the coverage they should. They do cover some MMA so when it blows up so big they can say they have been covering it for years . Piss on ESPN we don’t need you and it will make our sport better without you and your flock of over educated writers giving me their opinion on MMA. I don’t need your opinion nor do I want it.
The moral to the story is if you are not truly a MMA fan and have not watched UFC or MMA for a very long time, don’t try and bullshit us, the true UFC and MMA fans because we will call you out. We a passionate about our sport just like metal heads are about their music and NASCAR fans are about their drivers. DON”T TREAD on our sport because we will tread on you.
