I personally do not watch football but I respect the athletic ability it takes to be a pro football player. Herschel did amazing things when he was young and trying to make it as a MMA fighter at the age of 47 Really?
In a recent poll taken by Mmaweekly.com and shown on Inside the MMA. The Question was Will Herschel Walker make an impact on Strikeforce? Thousands voted and 93% said he would not make an impact on Strikeforce. I am with the 93% and think Herschel will not make an impact on Strikeforce.
Scott Coker is just looking for some publicity out of this fiasco.Walker has a sixth degree black belt in Tae Kwon do. Big deal Tae kwon do is not what you need to know inside the cage. Coker signing Walker with out seeing him fight is a joke and clearly a publicity stunt to get eyes on Strikeforce. The first time he steps into the cage against a true MMA fighter he is going to get beat and beat bad.
I know you are saying Dana White did the same thing with Brock Lesnar but the differences is people want to see Brock fight . Brock also fought in K-1 before joining the UFC and was the 2000 NACC wrestling champ. I love MMA and can’t stand it when some jackass tries to jump on the MMA band wagon. Now Shack and DMX think they can be MMA fighter. If they want be in the big show they should have to fight in smaller organizations before they step up to the big show. If Frank Mir woke up one day and said I want to be pro quarterback. No one would just sign him and put him in the next game. Herschel is not a fighter he is just looking for something to fill his days and using his fame to make it happen. It’s very disrespectful to all the TRUE MMA fighters, he needs to prove he is worthy to step in the cage. I hope this disrespect of MMA and it’s fans stops when Herschel get his head caved in his first fight. This is just my opinion and leave a comment and tell me what you think.

I think you make a good point when you stated that he ought to fight in the smaller organizations first. I can’t wait to see him get his ass handed to him, because this a is an outrage.It only opens the window for more jackasses and other wanna bees!
